Wyndham Hotel Group has opened a new hotel in Melbourne, which it says will now be the company’s flagship property in the city.
The new Wyndham Hotel Melbourne is located on the corner of William Street and Little Bourke Street, and features 531 rooms in two towers. The complex offers a range of hotel accommodation, vacation ownership and residential apartments, plus a retail precinct.
“We are very happy to enter the Melbourne market with this exceptionally designed, flagship property that will appeal to both business travellers and holidaymakers,” said Barry Robinson, president & managing director for Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific and Wyndham Hotel Group in Southeast Asia and the Pacific Rim.
“Wyndham Hotel Melbourne reflects the vibrancy and sophistication this cosmopolitan city is renowned for and we look forward to offering guests and more than 49,000 vacation owners the exceptional service and product for which the Wyndham brand is known around the world.”
The 23- and 21-storey towers feature a series of one- and two-bedroom apartments, plus three-bedroom suites.
Other facilities include a gym, library, meeting space and a rooftop pool with a barbecue area.
The new hotel joins 16 Wyndham hotels currently operating in Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia and Guam under the Wyndham, Ramada, Tryp and Days Inn brands.
