Yotel to open new airport hotel in Charles de Gaulle

YOTEL, the London-based affordable luxury hotel chain, has confirmed the Paris location for its next hotel opening.
Due to open on 1st July, it will be the first ever in-terminal hotel at Charles de Gaulle Airport. The luxury cabins will be situated in the secure transit area in Terminal 2E, home to Air France and the SkyTeam Global Alliance.
YOTEL’s Paris launch will form part of the opening of the brand new airport lounge area Instant Paris.
As the 12th busiest airport in the world Paris, Charles the Gaulle is one of the globe’s principle aviation hubs welcoming 65.8 million passengers annually.
The innovative air-side hotel will provide accommodation for travellers catching extremely early flights and layover passengers.
Passengers with check-in luggage can take advantage of the airport’s early bag-drop service that allows guests to check their hold luggage the night before their flight.
YOTEL is uniquely bookable by the hour on yotel.com and offers a 24/7 airline style self-check in and out service. Along with the usual high-tech accessories, YOTEL’s Premium rooms (known as cabins), also feature space-saving adjustable SmartBeds with Serta gel mattresses. All cabins have ensuite bathrooms with monsoon rain showers and techno wall features which includes mood lighting and entertainment options, with flat screen TVs that can be connected to the guests’ device of choice.
The Paris hotel will feature YOTEL’s Club Lounge where guests can relax on comfy sofas enjoying YOTEL’s signature free hot drinks. Guests can use work spaces with USB charging points or relax in the Snug TV zone, perfect for informal gatherings. All areas of the hotel are served by super-fast WiFi connectivity.
The hotel will also feature a unique self-vending wall with ambient and chilled sections. Guests can purchase a variety of ready meals, such as noodles, protein hot pots and pasta dishes. Useful merchandise such as plug adaptors and toothbrush kits can be purchased 24/7 using contactless credit cards or credit vouchers available from YOTEL, cutting out the need for local currency.
Ensuring no one ever has to miss a flight, Mission Control, YOTEL’s version of the hotel reception desk, is equipped with flight information screens that display individual passenger flight details simply by scanning the bar code on their boarding pass or smartphone. Ensuring great comfort and service, YOTEL have cabin crew on hand 24/7.
