World Travel Market has revealed that Sandals International’s CEO Adam Stewart will be in the World Responsible Tourism Day’s HOTseat this year. Stewart will be questioned by BBC World’s Stephen Sackur about his own responsible tourism policies, as well as the challenges faced in sustainable tourism. “Unlike many other discussions about responsible tourism, HOTseat pulls no punches or holds back on what needs to be done by the industry if it is to survive in generations to come,” said WTM Chairman Fiona Jeffery. “Adam is straight talking – a dynamic resort leader for the 21st century. It should be a fascinating, thought provoking session.” Marriott President and Managing Director Ed Fuller and TUI CEO Peter Long have previously sat in the HOTseat.
