Sandals Resorts has acquired LaSource on the island of Grenada.
The resort will be renamed Sandals LaSource Grenada and will be the hotel group’s first to open on the island. The resort will have 100 rooms added to become a 200-room property, with its Neptunes restaurant to also be added. Its Cafe de Paris and other F&B options will be added as well as a new infinity pool, fitness centre and Red Lane Spa.
LaSource had closed in mid-October due to financial difficulties.
“After looking to expand here for more than a decade, we are delighted to confirm the acquisition of our first ever resort in Grenada and are incredibly proud to have found the perfect location to add to our brand. We are eager to make our debut,” said Gordon ‘Butch’ Stewart, chairman of Sandals. Its launch date will be announced soon.
