New World Hotels and Millennium & Copthorne will launch a new co-branded hotel in Hong Kong this summer.
Opening on 1 July 2014, the New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel will open in the Tsim Sha Tsui area of the city, following the rebranding of the former Nikko Hongkong hotel.
The property follows the launch of Fergurson Hotel Holdings, a new joint venture management company formed by New World Hotels and Millennium & Copthorne.
The hotel’s rebranding will coincide with a HK$120 million (US$15.5m) renovation of the 464-room harbour-front hotel. The hotel will remain open throughout the refurbishment.
As well as the 464 rooms and suites, the New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel will feature seven F&B outlets, a health club, rooftop pool, 10 meeting rooms and a ballroom.
The new property will mark the debut of both New World and Millennium & Copthorne in Hong Kong.
