Singapore-based SilverNeedle Hospitality has unveiled the location of its second Sage Hotel.
The new upscale brand recently announced its first property in Brisbane, and the brand’s expansion has now continued with the unveiling of plans for a Sage Hotel in Perth.
“Sage Hotels cater to an important group of business travellers who desire a stable and uncomplicated life as they conduct their business in unfamiliar cities,” said Iqbal Jumabhoy, managing director & group CEO at SilverNeedle.
“This agreement also expands our footprint in Western Australia, where we are confident of the market’s fundamentals.”
Located in West Perth, the second Sage Hotel will comprise 101 rooms as part of a two-building site that see a modern hotel adjoin a renovated heritage building. Facilities will include a restaurant and several meeting rooms. The hotel is scheduled to open in March 2016.
SilverNeedle is marketing the Sage brand as a “simple” upscale product, offering ease and convenience for travellers. Brand standard features will include free Wi-Fi and free local calls plus competitively priced minibar items and laundry services.
