The luxury Sanchaya resort opens on 1 September with a collection of 21 villas and nine suites.
Located on the island of Bintan, the beachfront property is part of a wider development project for Lagoi Bay which involves residences, hotels and private estates, commercial spaces, a golf course, and an international airport.

A butler service is also available for guests, with staff trained by the British Butler Institute.
The Sanchaya’s restaurants include The Dining Room for all day dining, the poolside Tasanee Grill serving Bangkok street cuisine in a beach setting, casual dining by the pool at The Salon & Library, and a wine and cheese tasting room called Decanter.
There is also function room in the Great House, which is suitable for meetings or social functions, and can seat 24-75 people. Additionally, leisure facilities on the estate include a spa, pool and 24-hour fitness suite, as well as croquet lawn.
