A Scottish travel agent has joined the Advantage Managed Services (AMS) scheme.
Love to Travel has become the first travel agent in Scotland to operate under the scheme, after being set up by former Thomas Cook regional business manager Joanne Dooey.
Dooey opened her own business after 26 years of experience, recruiting three former colleagues to work in the Coatbridge shop.
The agency will specialist in family holidays as well as long-haul and cruise bookings as well as a gift service for honeymooners.
Dooey said: “The timing was just right for me and I have managed to open a shop where I know there is great demand for travel agency services. Recruiting my former colleagues has been a real bonus and they will be a fantastic asset to the business. It’s been a busy time ensuring everything is up and running.”
