Air Transat has announced a new connection between London and St. John’s for 2015 as part of its European network.
The carrier will offer two weekly flights in high season in response to strong demand between England and Newfoundland & Labrador.
Its flight frequencies will also increase from London to Canada moving up to 10 weekly departures from Toronto; twice weekly from Montreal and Halifax; six from Vancouver and three from Calgary.
Budapest will be added as a new destination on the airline’s network next year with flights from Montreal and Toronto, following the success of flights to Prague launched earlier this year.
This will boost its European routes up to more than 50 and also include services from Paris to Montreal, Toronto, Quebec City, Calgary and Vancouver. Flights will also be added between Athens and Barcelona with Montreal and Toronto, and to Lisbon from Montreal.
The carrier will suspend flights from Western Canada to Germany and will also suspend its services to and from Turkey.
