Brisbane-based cruise ship Pacific Dawn will leave its Sydney dry dock today, wearing P&O’s new livery.
Featuring a navy blue stripe on the ship’s side, the livery will be gradually introduced across all five of P&O’s Australian ships over the coming months.
The task of painting the new livery on the 70,000-tonne liner saw a group of nine people working through a 10-day dry dock period.
The ship’s funnel was also coated with white paint before having its new P&O logo attached.
Pacific Dawn is scheduled to leave dry dock on Thursday afternoon and will sail to Brisbane ahead of its first commercial cruise of the season on Saturday.
