Cristal Hotels showcase regional growth

The Middle East market is proving to be a lucrative proposition for Cristal Hotels. The Group has announced its three hotel openings in Saudi Arabia next year.
President and CEO of Cristal Group, Peter Blackburn said: “We will be introducing new properties to existing customers. We are delighted to have recently opened a new 100-room five-star hotel in Erbil that features three restaurants as well as a large garden venue, spa, indoor pool and a ballroom.”
The Group also has two hotels nearing completion in Riyadh and a further business property opening in Dammam. With the current development, KSA will join in four countries, including UAE, Iraq and Lebanon to present a total portfolio of 16 hotels and projects.
Saudi Arabia is the major economy in the GCC region and has committed to boost tourism as an industry and employer with tourism projects valued at more than US$11.6bn currently underway in the Kingdom. Overall, religious tourism is estimated to contribute US$45.3bn to the economy complementing the major petrochemical sector.
