Oman Air has recently launched a new codeshare agreement with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.
The agreement will enable Oman Air’s customers to book onto flights operated by KLM between Muscat and Amsterdam. KLM will operate five flights per week between the two cities and will utilise Airbus A330 wide-body aircraft on the route.
Oman Air’s chief executive officer, Paul Gregorowitsch, said: “The codeshare will increase number of destinations we offer in Europe to seven and represents an expansion of choice.”
This network growth is a key part of Oman Air’s current ambitious expansion programme. The programme will see Oman Air not only increase its network, but also increase frequencies on many established routes. In parallel, Oman Air is enlarging its fleet and will operate 50 aircraft by 2018, and 70 aircraft by 2020.
