Motel One, the budget design hotel chain, has revealed an 11% rise in operating profit in Q1, 2015.
The winner of Focus Magazine’s ‘Best Employer’ award also confirmed new openings in London, Prague and Magdeburg, during the quarter, and the sale of nine first generation hotels.
As a result of its expansion, overall capacity rose 16%, reaching 12,664 rooms, while revenues rose 26% to EU64m.
The organisation has another 20 hotels in the pipeline, with openings scheduled in Manchester, Amsterdam and Vienna before the end of 2015.
