HotelQuickly marks third anniversary with new branding and app

HotelQuickly, the last-minute booking app, has unveiled a new brand image to mark its third anniversary.
The company will launch a new app today (31 March 2016) to coincide with its rebranding and the relaunch of the HotelQuickly website.
The new app aims to provide users with a “more streamlined booking flow” as well as several new features, including the ability to make multi-room bookings, enhanced map functionality, and new price display that can include or exclude taxes.
Arguably the most notable feature of the new app is the ‘Special Gift’ section, which will see HotelQuickly’s partner hotels offer free vouchers and value-added services such as airport transfers to guests booking through the app.
“This is by far the most revolutionary and ambitious overhaul of HotelQuickly since the app debuted in 2013,” said Tomas Laboutka, HotelQuickly’s co-founder & CEO. “We’re confident the smoother booking process and stronger brand image will propel HotelQuickly to the next level in its fourth year.”
The company’s new branding includes a new logo, which moves from a ‘pillow’ icon to a ‘key’ logo.
Since its launch, HotelQuickly has expanded to include approximately 12,000 hotels in more than 250 destinations. It recently acquired Tonight, a Japanese booking app, which marked the company’s entry into Japan – its 16th country.
