Luxury boutique hotel The Wellesley has announced the introduction of ‘handy’ devices for its guests, complete with bespoke branded cases.
The hotel in Knightsbridge, which is popular with Middle East guests, now offers complimentary use of the handy smartphones, allowing guests to make local and international phone calls, enjoy unlimited internet access, use an array of useful apps to navigate the city, and capture their trip using the camera function.
Whether visiting for leisure or business, those staying at The Wellesley are invited to use the device for the duration of their stay and are welcome to take it out of the hotel.
The introduction of the handy smartphones follows the successful launch of the hotel’s WhatsApp service, where guests can reach the Reservations team via the instant messaging platform to make bookings and reservations.
Stefano Lodi, general manager of The Wellesley, said: “We are always working to meet the needs of the modern-day traveller; the handy devices accompany our existing in-room tablets and WhatsApp service, giving guests everything they need at their fingertips to enjoy London and The Wellesley.
“Everything we do at the hotel offers a tailored personalised experience with impeccable attention to detail, and our bespoke handy phone cases are a reflection of this.”
The use of the handy smartphones joins The Wellesley’s existing complimentary offerings for guests, including a Rolls-Royce drop-off service, Butler service for all rooms and suites, and expert London knowledge from the Concierge team.
