Samadhi Retreats, the luxury hospitality company, has unveiled its inaugural property in Singapore.
Located in the Labrador Nature Reserve, the new Villa Samadhi Singapore opened on 5 January 2017. Housed in a colonial-era garrison, the hotel features 20 rooms adorned with classical blue and white china. Several of the rooms also feature walkways overlooking the surrounding nature reserve.
There is also a restaurant, Tamarind Hill, which claims to offer “100 traditional and modern Thai dishes created from heirloom recipes”.
Villa Samadhi Singapore becomes the third property in Samadhi Retreats’ portfolio, following the Japamala Resort, which opened on Malaysia’s Tioman Island in 2004, and Villa Samadhi, which launched in Kuala Lumpur in 2011.
The company also owns the Tamarind restaurant chain and is planning to launch its first hotel in Sri Lanka in future.
