Australian inbound tourism picks up

07 Apr 10 (TravMedia.com): Australia’s inbound tourism market is showing signs of a minor recovery this year, according to analysis of the Australian Bureau of Statistics’ latest Overseas Arrivals and Departures data by the Tourism & Transport Forum (TTF).
In January and February 2010, there were 1,014,300 overseas visitors to Australia compared to 962,300 the same time last year - an increase of 5.4 per cent.
