Construction work has started on a new 101 Hotel in the Indonesian city of Bandung.

Operated by Indonesia’s PHM Hospitality, the new 101 Bandung Dago is located close to the main Jalan Merdeka road, in the Dago Bandung entertainment and retail area.

The new 101 Bandung Dago will be a contemporary midscale hotel featuring 160 rooms, meeting rooms, a coffee shop, swimming pool and gym.

The latest property marks the latest phase of a major expansion of the 101 brand. Currently PHM operates just one 101-branded hotel, located in Bali. But by the end of 2014 the brand’s portfolio is expected to grow to nine properties in destinations such as Jakarta, Yogyakarta and Palembang.
