Accor has expanded its Pullman brand in Australia, following the rebranding two resorts in Queensland.
The Sea Temple Resort & Spa Port Douglas and Sea Temple Resort & Spa Palm Cove were both rebadged under the Pullman brand this week, boosting Accor’s Australia-wide Pullman portfolio to 10 hotels and resorts. This means that Pullman has now overtaken Hilton as Australia’s largest upscale brand.
Both of the Pullman Sea Temple resorts have spas, restaurants, lagoon-style pools and ocean views. The Pullman resort at Palm Cove features 126 rooms ranging from studio suites to four-bedroom penthouses featuring rooftop spas, plunge pools and barbecue facilities.
Pullman Port Douglas meanwhile, offers 194 rooms with kitchens, separate bedrooms and bathrooms, private balconies and terraces. Some of the rooms also have direct pool access.
“It is fitting that two such high-quality resorts should establish Pullman as Australia’s leading five-star brand,” he said Simon McGrath, Chief Operating Officer of Accor Pacific. “The Pullman resorts in Palm Cove and Port Douglas are two of Australia’s finest and they will benefit considerably by being part of Pullman’s rapidly growing international five-star network. We will be looking to grow the conference and incentive market into Tropical North Queensland, as well as growing domestic leisure and international business into the region.”
The two resorts add to Accor’s two existing Pullman hotels in Cairns, boosting the brand’s presence in northern Queensland to four hotels.
