SATA opens first branch in Dubai

Sharjah Airport Travel Agency (SATA) has ambitious expansion plans for the region which was announced at the opening of their first new branch in Dubai. HE Shaikh Abdulla Bin Mohammed Al Thani, chairman Department of Civil Aviation inaugurated the new office.
The ceremony was attended by HE Dr Ghanem Al Hajri, chairman, Sharjah Airport Authority, HE Ali Salim Al Midfa, director general of Sharjah Airport Authority, HE Sheikh Khalid Bin Isam Al Qassimi, director general, Department of Civil Aviation and Arshad Munir, general manager of SATA among other government officials, airline and trade partners.
HE Dr Ghanem Al Hajri, chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority said: “The new branch office is in line with the management’s directives of strategically expanding SATA’s network of branches This is the first branch in Dubai and 11th branch in UAE, which will add a substantial value to SATA network in 2013.”
Adding further Arshad Munir, general manager of SATA said: “We aim to widen our reach by opening our next branch in Abu Dhabi and shortly open our branches in other emirates very soon.”
