Taj Safaris has launched two ‘Mowgli Trails’ to coincide with the release of the new Jungle Book movie.
The new itineraries are available at Baghvan and Banjaar Tola – the company’s lodges in Pench and Kanha national parks, in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.
The Mowgli Trails include jungle drives with trained experts to spot the wildlife that inspired Rudyard Kipling’s characters, as well as visits to local tribal villages. The itineraries also include Jungle Book-inspired trivia sessions, stargazing and jungle showers.
The Mowgli Trails are available for a US$25 per night supplement to regular package prices. The two lodges offer a range of multi-day package options including accommodation, all meals, soft beverages, laundry, park fees and one safari game drive per day.
