Indonesia’s Surabaya Zoo has welcomed the arrival of 32 newborn Komodo dragons, the Jakarta Post reported. The endangered reptiles, believed to number less than 4,000 in the wild, all hatched in the last two weeks, a zoo spokesperson said.
Komodos have been kept at the zoo since the early 1980s, however only 34 newborns had previously been hatched in that time.
