787-3s and -9s destined for Asia

Speaking at the ParisAir Show, Bair said ANA and Japan Airlines have ordered 43 787-3s for domesticoperations in Japan,which will be used to optimise shorter routes. Deliveries are scheduled tobegin early 2010
Also that year,delivery will start for the slightly longer 787-9, designed to carry morepassengers on longer-range flights. Among the 11 customers lined up for the 115aircraft ordered are Singapore Airlines, Air New Zealand,and Qantas.
