Amadeus has announced that KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has now adopted the Amadeus Ancillary Services (AAS) solution. Through AAS, which enables airlines to book extra services across all channels, KLM will now offer travel agencies the option to sell its Economy Comfort seats.
“We are very pleased that our solution is helping KLM distribute Economy Comfort seats to all travel agencies using Amadeus GDS”, said David Doctor, Director of Airline & Travel Agency Distribution at Amadeus. “Amadeus continues to be a pioneer in the area of ancillary services, focusing on providing a solution that maximises revenue, delivers unmatched levels of customer service -through its multichannel offer- and allows travel agencies to compete effectively.”
Seventeen airlines have now signed up for AAS.
