Home of the Brave was founded by the Tomlinson family in 1991 in conjunction with the 50th Anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor and surrounding Military Bases on Oahu. Inspired by first hand accounts from Pearl Harbor survivors, Home of the Brave has been heralded as Hawaii’s most comprehensive and only tour of Hawaii’s Battlefield sites, attacked on December 7, 1941.
Due to heightened security on the U.S. Army Installations that we visit, we no longer offer the Home of the Brave Military Base Tour program. We have now partnered with E NOA Tours to offer fascinating historical programs which visit the various Pearl Harbor sites. Please take a look at their multiple Pearl Harbor options and reserve now in the calendar below.
Our private museum, open Friday and Saturdays from 5pm-8pm, houses the largest and most fascinating collection of WWII memorabilia in the Pacific (all items donated by Veterans and their families.) Called Honolulu’s “Best kept Secret” by our Mayor, guests can enjoy a fascinating glimpse into the 1940’s while perusing the collection and sipping on a fresh brewed craft beer (brewed on-site) or an ice cold Coca Cola in the Wiki Waki Woo Bar. Also, experience the Brewseum next door, a nostalgic WWII themed brewpub, open 5pm Tuesday – Saturday!
