Tamouh announced the official opening of Wadi Adventure at Jebel Hafeet in Al Ain, the first man-made facility to offer white water rafting, kayaking and surfing.
Apart from the three white water rafting and kayaking runs adding up to a combined length of 1,133 metres, the adventure park features a surf pool that generates three-metre high waves every 90 seconds. Wadi Adventure will cater to adventure enthusiasts with its challenging rope course, tough climbing wall and a zip line.
With a capacity of up to 1,000 people, the Summits Event Centre at the park is ideal for hosting events such as product launches, corporate meets and team building activities, as well as catering to the wedding segment.
Joe Ong, managing director, Tamouh, said: “The launch of Wadi Adventure marks Tamouh’s foray into the entertainment sector.”
Ideal for professional surfers, amateurs and families, the services in the facility and the project offering conforms to stringent safety standards for ensuring visitor welfare. Water-sport enthusiasts are also taught to surf in a controlled environment with certified instructors, while the waves are adjusted to fit individual skill and experience.
