Carnival subsidiary Cunard Line has announced its 2014 cruise programme –including details of the tenth birthday celebrations for the Queen Mary 2.
The schedule, which has a reinforced emphasis on Mediterranean sailings, also details the more traditional transatlantic voyages for which the line is renowned.
Cunard president and managing director Peter Shanks made the 2014 announcement while in Sydney celebrating the efforts made by Australian volunteers from the recent floods and bush fires.

Two ‘Birthday Crossings’ to celebrate Queen Mary 2’s 10 year anniversary – Southampton to New York on 9 May and New York to Southampton on 16 May. These crossings will include a number of special events and celebrations. There will also be a ‘Three Queens’ event in Southampton on 9 May to initiate the 10th birthday celebrations.
