Eastin expands Easy brand in Thailand
Absolute Hotel Services (AHS) has announced plans to expand its midscale brand, Eastin Easy, in Thailand, with the launch of a new property in the resort town of Pattaya.
Scheduled to open in late 2015, the Eastin Easy Jomtien Pattaya will feature 180 rooms, along with a restaurant, bar, gym, outdoor swimming pool and 800m² of meeting space.
“As Pattaya and Jomtien enjoy strong demand growth we are confident that the destination and this specific location can absorb additional supply easily especially in the mid-tier segment. We are working closely with the project team to ensure we develop a unique product which more than satisfies the needs of our target customers which in combination with the Eastin Easy brand and service standards will become an easy choice for those visiting the destination,” said Jonathan Wigley, CEO of AHS.
AHS has three separate Eastin brands – midscale Eastin Easy, upscale Eastin and Eastin Residences for long-stay guests. The Pattaya hotel is the second Eastin Easy earmarked for Thailand, following the Eastin Easy Siam Piman, which is already open close to Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi airport. The brand is also present in Hanoi and has several openings planned for India.
