New authorisation needed for US bound passengers

Iberia revealed today that all passengers heading to the US are required to obtain online electronic travel authorisation.As a requirement of United States Department of Homeland Security and Customs and Immigration authority of March 20 2010, the authorisation will be valid for two years and allow multiple entries to the US. It must be submitted 72 hours before the start of your trip. When the authorisation is obtained is should be printed and kept with your passport. If the request is denied, passengers should contact the nearest US Embassy to find out if a visa can be issued.
