India’s first Colombian Gastronomic Festival is to be held at the Jaypee Vasant Continental hotel from 29 April to 2 May 2010, in association with the Colombian Embassy. The event, which is scheduled to commemorate 200 years of Colombian independence, will see Colombian chefs, Edgar Mora and Patricia Soto, showcase the finest of Colombian food. Some dishes will be customised to the Indian palate, substituting meat with vegetarian options. The four-day long festival will also feature performances by Colombian dancers.
