South African Tourism is offering a ‘Learn South Africa’ training programme for Indian travel agents, to increase awareness of the destination. The scheme will be offered in 12 cities in July and August this year. All of India’s major cities will be covered, as well as hubs such as Surat, Kochi and Ahmedabad. The idea is to encourage Indian agents to promote the World Cup host nation in the Indian marketplace.
