Buddhist Christmas in Bhutan

Through the winter season Uma Paro in Bhutan, an adventure resort deep in the Himalayas, is offering a special ten-day program of activities to mark Tshechu, a Buddhist spiritual day which falls on the tenth day of the lunar month. Taking place from 23 December, this will be a unique opportunity to experience the country’s Buddhist culture and engage in meditation, Yoga, cookery, traditional Bhutanese sports and hiking in the surrounding Himalayas.
