Air Arabia adds new destination from India

Budget carrier Air Arabia has added a new destination of Gassim from India. Economic Times said flights from 13 Indian destinations would be connecting Gassim from 15 July, according to the airline.The largest low coat airline in the Middle East and North Africa will offer flights to Gassim from its hub at Sharjah. The airliner plans to capture large number of Indian visiting friends and relatives in the UAE, the paper said. Air Arabia will offer four weekly flights to Gassim on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays from Sharjah International Airport. “We are extremely pleased to introduce our new service between Sharjah and Gassim, which marks the fifth destination in Saudi Arabia reachable via Air Arabia. The significant Indian expatriate population in the UAE and wider Gulf region too will be benefited with this new destination,” said A.K Nizar, Head of Commercial Department, Air Arabia. Air Arabia flies out of the metros like Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore and from other smaller metros like Ahmedabad, Calicut , Chennai, Jaipur and other cities in south India.
