Chic Outlet Shopping has unveiled a new ‘Globalista’ campaign featuring model and actress Milla Jovovich.
As part of the campaign Value Retail is offering net rate packages to the travel trade which include a Shopping Day Experience with a VIP card, a prepaid MasterCard gift card, two-course meal and return tickets on the Shopping Express shuttle.
Other packages, which all offer commission; include tie-ups with a day at the races and city tours. Ian Stazicker, tourism director – global marketing at Value Retail said the campaign is about opening up the destinations as well as its shopping outlets.
“It’s not just about shopping anymore. The sophisticated travellers who visit us are looking for a unique and authentic experience and the best customer service. The Villages are very much tourism destinations in their own right, providing a full day trip of ‘retailtainment’,” he said.
“That’s why we provide shopping packages and services including hands-free shopping and VIP Lounges to make their visit special,” added Stazicker.
