RAK Airways expands in Saudi Arabia

RAK Airways will soon commence operations to Riyadh from 25 September 2013. This growth is part of the expansion into Islamabad and Amman commenced earlier this year.
HE Sheikh Salem Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, chairman of Department of Civil Aviation and vice-chairman of RAK Airways said: “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a major contributor of tourism into the UAE. The new route will help boost this traffic from Ras Al Khaimah into Riyadh.”
RAK Airways will operate three flights a week to Riyadh at 7:30 am. The weekly flights are scheduled for Monday, Wednesday and Friday till 28 October 2013. For the winter schedule i.e. from 29 October 2013, RAK Airways will increase its frequency to four flights a week. The scheduled operation for winter will be on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday and the flight from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport will be at 8:30 am.
