Cebu Pacific Air (CEB) launched flights to Dubai this week, marking the latest stage of air capacity expansion between the Philippines and the Middle East.
Following the recent introduction of Philippine Airlines’ new Manila-Abu Dhabi flights and Emirates’ new Dubai-Clark service, CEB has continued the growth with the start of a new daily service connecting Manila and Dubai. This also marks the start of CEB’s first ever long-haul operations.
“Our goal has always been to combine low fares with great service,” said Alex Reyes, general manager of CEB’s long-haul division. “And by choosing Dubai as the first long haul destination, we are serving one of the largest Filipino expat communities in the world.”
CEB’s Dubai service will be operated using an Airbus A330-300 aircraft with more than 400 seats.
