Final outlay for Park Hyatt St Kitts showcased

The final designs for Park Hyatt St Kitts, scheduled to be completed by the end of 2015 was recently reviewed by Hyatt Hotels Corporation’s senior executive management team and project designers.
The plans for Park Hyatt St Kitts show a commitment to responsible tourism that is aligned with the sustainable tourism goals of St Kitts. According to the plans, development will benefit the island’s local communities in addition to helping to preserve the natural beauty. The developers have also committed to commence hiring and training Kittitians & Nevisians, well in advance of the resort’s opening.
“Not only is the Park Hyatt project vital to the future economic growth of St. Kitts & Nevis, but this meeting has increased my confidence that the project has all the right elements of sustainability embedded in its design,” said Honorable Ricky Skerritt, St Kitts & Nevis’ minister of tourism & international transport.
St Kitts & Nevis was presented at the executive meeting by the Honorable Ricky Skerritt. Other senior officials attending included Shaun Treacy, senior vice president product & brand design, Americas, for Hyatt Hotels Corporation; Kamal Shehada, development director, Range Developments; Jim Ryan, Kier Construction; and Simeon Halstead, Arcadia Designs (head of the team of project designers).
