Vistara has continued its Indian expansion with the launch of flights to Pune.
The inaugural flight from Delhi to the Maharashtra city took off on Thursday 9 April and Vistara will now operate the route daily.
“With addition of Pune on its network, Vistara’s footprint in India continues to grow at a rapid pace,” said Phee Teik Yeoh, CEO of Vistara.
“We have received enthusiastic response from our customers when we launched flights to Goa, Hyderabad and recently to Guwahati and Bagdogra. This clearly indicates a resounding endorsement of Vistara’s unique value proposition.”
Phee added that Vistara will continue to add more new domestic routes, details of which will be “announced later this year”.
Following the latest launch, Vistara now connects Delhi with seven destinations: Pune, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Goa, Hyderabad, Guwahati and Bagdogra. It also offers flights between Mumbai and Ahmedabad.
All routes are operated using Vistara’s Airbus A320 aircraft, which comes equipped with 148 seats – 16 in business class, 36 in premium economy and 96 in economy.
