Singapore sees record October for arrivals

Last month saw Singapore welcoming 911,000 visitors, setting a new record for the month of October. Visitor days were estimated to reach 3.3 million days, an increase of 14.5% compared to October 2006.
Indonesia (215,000), China (84,000), Australia (75,000), India (60,000) and Malaysia (58,000) were Singapore’s top five visitor-generating markets. These markets accounted for 54% of total visitor arrivals for the month.
