Ani Villas, which operates a private luxury resort in Anguilla, has unveiled plans to make its debut in Asia.
The company has revealed details of its first two properties in the region: a 10 bedroom property on the island of Koh Yao Noi in southern Thailand and a 15 bedroom estate on the beaches of Dikwella in southern Sri Lanka.
According to the company, Ani Villa provides “private luxury travel, marrying the intimacy of private estates with the amenities of world-class resorts”. For guests this will include private butler services, F&B, children’s activities, spa treatments, airport transfers and other offerings at no extra cost.
“We have developed a completely original concept for luxury travel with fully-serviced and exclusive private estates, designed by internationally acclaimed architects and serviced by a dedicated team of seasoned hoteliers. We are excited to bring the Ani Villas experience to Asia with these new openings in Thailand and Sri Lanka,” said Tim Reynolds, founder of Ani Villas.
Ani Villas Thailand will be located on an 8,000m² plot of beachfront land on Koh Yao Noi, overlooking Phang Nga Bay. Accessible by boat or helicopter, the resort will provide a range of water sports such as cave kayaking, fishing, paddle-boarding and sailing, plus other activities including cooking classes, cycling and rock climbing.
All 10 bedrooms feature large living spaces, bathrooms, Apple TVs and music streaming services, while facilities include a 33-metre beachfront pool, a children’s pool with waterslide, open-air dining area, bar, spa, fitness centre and yoga pavilion.
Ani Villas Sri Lanka meanwhile (pictured top), is set in 1.8 hectares of land directly on the beach just outside Dikwella, on Sri Lanka’s south coast.
Accommodation will comprise two villas containing a total of 15 suites, with each villa featuring a two-storey sea-facing living area, library, games room and an open dining area. The will also be a 23-metre beachfront pool, children’s pool with waterslide, a tennis court and gym. Like the Thai property, Ani Villas Sri Lanka will offer a large selection of guest activities including whale watching, fishing, boat trips, surfing, leopard safaris, mountain biking and tea plantation tours.
Ani Villas’ two new Asian properties are both expected to open in December 2015, and will be joined next year by a new resort in the Dominican Republic.
