SkyTeam has opened a new lounge at Hong Kong International Airport.
The new SkyTeam Exclusive Lounge, which becomes only the fourth SkyTeam-branded lounge in the world, is available to first and business class passengers and Elite Plus members flying of all 12 SkyTeam member airlines serving the airport.
The new facility offers 1,000m² of space and can seat up to 230 passengers. Amenities include a yoga room, noodle bar, work stations, charging points for electronic devices, free Wi-Fi, shower facilities, a hot and cold buffet and a bar.
It also features a “living wall” with more than 50 different plant species – a component that will be a feature of all SkyTeam lounges around the world.
“Our goal is to invest in shared facilities at airports around the world in order to deliver a consistently high level of service to our members’ customers as well as creating synergies for our members at airports served by multiple SkyTeam airlines,” said SkyTeam’s managing director, Michael Wisbrun.
“This exclusive lounge will provide a relaxing environment for passengers in which to unwind before catching their next flight.”
The new SkyTeam Exclusive Lounge is located at HKIA’s Terminal 1 and is open daily between 0530 and 0100. It joins three other SkyTeam lounges around the world, located at Sydney, London Heathrow and Istanbul airports.
