Scheduled to open by the end of 2016, the Shangri-La Hotel Yiwu will form part of the new Yiwu World Trade Centre, which will feature 480,000m² of luxury residential, commercial and retail space in city’s central business district.
Flanked by the Yiwu River and Futian Park, Shangri-La Hotel Yiwu will feature 516 rooms, suites and serviced apartments, plus dining, leisure and conference facilities.
“We are delighted to sign this partnership with NeoGlory Holdings Group Company Limited and to be opening a new hotel,” said Shangri-La’s president & CEO, Greg Dogan. “This project provides the group an opportunity to further extend our brand portfolio in China and to bring new standards of luxury and hospitality to Yiwu.”
Home to approximately two million people, Yiwu is located one and a half hours by high-speed train from Shanghai.
