Thursday 18 August marked the 100-day countdown to the 2016 FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX, with organisers encouraging race goers to hurry up and buy their ticket or lose out on the region’s biggest and best sporting and entertainment weekend.
The Formula 1® buzz is back as the Belgian Grand Prix on Sunday 26 August marks the return of the final run of races that will culminate in the exciting season finale in Abu Dhabi.
F1 venue Yas Marina Circuit has revealed that tickets for the ultimate F1® race experience have been selling out fast during the summer, and with the Friday Brunch package and West Grandstand tickets already sold out. The circuit is urging UAE residents and international travellers to buy tickets to secure their favourite spot.
This year, organisers have introduced the Friday Brunch at Yas Trackside Terrace. Situated on the terrace at Abu Dhabi Motorsport Management HQ, the limited-edition tickets allow race fans to enjoy all the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix action just metres away from the iconic F1® Circuit, and are now available to book online.
Those that have already purchased tickets can expect delivery to commence on 20 September, and anticipation and excitement is already building from regional and international fans in more than 170 countries who are expected to attend.
With a constant focus on improving the already high standards of customer service, Yas Marina Circuit will also announce an upgrade to its already rich YasHUB smartphone app, with ‘AskYAS’. This will provide instant answers and at-a-glance information on seating, entertainment, transport around the circuit and other important questions that visitors may have.
This year, the F1® ticket price not only includes world-class Formula 1® racing action, but also enables race goers access to enjoy the 2016 Yasalam After-Race Concerts. Performances include The Chemical Brothers (#ChemBrosAtF1) on Friday 25 November, and Rihanna on Sunday 27 November as the only Middle East date on her ‘ANTI WORLD TOUR’ at the du Arena, Yas Island, with more artists to be announced shortly.
