Landmark plaza for Seoul
Seoul City has begun building a landmark plaza on its central Gwanghwamun street as part of a project to promote tourism. Korea Herald reported.
Gwanghwamun Plaza will be completed by June 2009 and the city expects it to become a new showcase of Korean culture and history. It will also offer easier access to nearby cultural landmarks including Gyeongbok Palace, the report said.
