Celadon makes Vietnam plans

Celadon International has opened its first ‘Exotica’ branded resort near Phan Thiet, southern Vietnam, and followed up by announcing plans for a further US$200 million worth of investments in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Haiphong, Danang, Hoi An, Cam Ranh, Dalat, CanTho, and Phu Quoc Island.
The rebranded Exotica Playa Resort has been upgraded to four-star standards, and features 97 rooms, suites and bungalows after taking over the management.
Meanwhile Celadon Chief Executive Officer, Paul Stoll, announced a partnership with NAVICO to develop hotels and resorts across Vietnam. The next openings will be Le Indochine Apartment Hotel, Hue (opening 2009), followed by the Imperial Hotel & Apartments, Vung Tau, and the Celadon Green Island Hotel, Danang (opening 2010).
