Macau spending up 9%

Visitor spending in Macau rose 9% in the second quarter of 2008, Xinhua has reported. Per-capita spending of visitors rose to MOP1,613 (US$202), according to figures released by the city’s Statistics and Census Service.
Chinese mainland visitors remain the highest spenders, at MOP3,357 (US$420).
