A Shanghai Airlines plane was forced to make an emergency landing at Haikou airport, Hainan province, on Wednesday night, the Shanghai Daily has reported.
The Boeing 737 aircraft, carrying more than 100 passengers, was en route from Shanghai to Phnom Penh when it experienced technical difficulties. The report said that one of the plane’s hydraulic pressure pumps was damaged, causing hydraulic oil to leak.
The plane reportedly landed safely and no-one was hurt in the incident.
