The Jinjiang Hotel Chengdu, in the capital of China’s Sichuan province, is investing CNY400 million (US$58.5 million) to build a 26-storey building in the city, China Daily has reported.
The new tower will connect with the existing hotel, adding a further 260 rooms as well as a three-storey parking lot, multi-function dining hall and a conference wing, the report said. On completion, the Jinjiang Hotel will have close to 1,000 rooms, making it Chengdu’s largest hotel.
