UNWTO Summit comes to Qatar

The Qatar Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (QTEA) will tomorrow open the UNWTO Summit focusing on the challenges facing the global tourism industry. The two-day Qatar Summit will bring together tourism ministers, tourism government officials and industry leaders from around the region to discuss the resource challenges facing the travel market.
Speaking on the occasion of the opening of the conference media centre yesterday, Ahmed al Nuaimi, Chairman of QTEA (pictured), said; “Qatar is eager to enable the best dialogue for tourism stakeholders from all the Middle East and other continents. We are committed to make the best use of the UNWTO expertise and programmes.”
