Oman, UAE to ease cross-border travel

Officials of Oman and the UAE have met in Muscat to discuss measures to ease cross-border travels, Gulf News reported. The parties reviewed a number of initiatives aimed at facilitating travel by citizens, expatriate residents and tourists through border crossings, including the possibility of introducing iris scanning procedures at land checkpoints.
